  • Responsible for managing the migration of the EMEA client portfolio from the legacy Real time managed distribution service (RTMDS) over to the new RTMDS platform.
  • The migration involved upgrading clients to the new connectivity covering vpn, xconnect, circuit and cloud solutions.

  • Responsible for the global software asset management workstream, collaborating with third-party partners, Microsoft and SAM auditors. The project saved the company more than £3 million.

  • Managed VMware installation, decommissioned old databases, and migrated to new infrastructure.

  • Responsible for projects on the production Futures E-trading trade plant, covering trading, infrastructure, and mandatory exchange related changes.
  • ServiceNow rollout for the Equities and Futures technology department in EMEA.
  • Responsible for user acceptance review team for ServiceNow for the Equities & Futures tech group at Barclays Capital.
  • The team reviewed ServiceNow functionality, reported bugs and submitted enhancement requests during testing and pilot phases to the project team.
  • ServiceNow products reviewed and deployed included Incident management, problem management, change management and configuration management database.
  • Led critical infrastructure upgrades to Win2008 for the futures trading plant, which involved managing infrastructure teams and release planning.
  • Managed the Futures/Equities/Middle office migration from Oracle 10g to 11g which included testing and sign-off for UAT and production release.
  • Coordinated the annual mandatory exchange upgrades on the futures trade plant examples include Eurex and EDX.
  • Planned and managed the Windows and UNIX patching cycles each quarter across 500 servers in EMEA.
  • Managed the migration of over 300 business critical Autosys jobs from 4.5 new R11 instances successfully.
  • Project managed the setup of new FIX gateway offering for external clients based on Solace messaging with over 200 fix clients connections to be migrated.
  • Led a compliance project to improve the backup and retention periods of all Futures etrading servers globally.
