As Brand Ambassador it is my job to innovate the best ways to ensure that Salcombe Gin is known with a reputation for quality to the widest audience possible. In the role I have collaborated with countless businesses/brands to ensure maximum exposure. The summer of 2024 saw a significant increase in sales across the company despite increasingly tough economic conditions. The substantial increase was helped by the autonomy I was given to be creative, but I believe the key to the success was building relationships and having a strong rapport with people.
In the role I provided research for sequencing storylines on a production that is under NDA.
A heart-warming factual documentary series highlighting the unique lives, events, and beautiful landscapes in the Dorset area. My favourite moment was shooting the ‘World Nettle Eating Contest’ and seeing people come together for such an eccentric and fun event. On the show I assisted the production by gathering consent forms, helping the director adhere to the editorial notes in a saturated schedule, forming relations with contributors, wrangling the footage and logging it in an efficient and precise manner for the editorial team. I was also on hand to assist in sequencing events and some of the footage that I shot appeared in the final edit.
A fun factual entertainment series following the lives of the staff and guests over the course of six weeks in a hotel in Benidorm during the busy summer season. On ‘Hotel Benidorm’ my main duties included consent checking the contributors that appeared on the final cut of each episode, collaborating with the editorial team to ensure the footage is logged before a tight deadline as well as an array of logistics to ensure the smooth running of the production.
A fun observational documentary following the staff and guests of four holiday parks in the South-West of England. During the six-week shoot I worked as a location assistant for the entire filming production. I helped cast families, produce storylines, consented contributors, assisted the camera operator and set up the rig. After the six weeks filming period I returned to the office for postproduction work such as consent checking, logging and edit support.
I spent time researching and writing a selection of works including a published book titled 'How to Fix a Broken World'. This was an attempt to showcase how political, social and economic patterns can be used to help understand the future. The key emphasis was to ensure that we do not completely abandon the foundations that have upheld our society.
How to Fix a Broken World (Political, Economic and Social) – At nineteen I published a book focusing on how we can use the repetition of economic and political patterns to help analyse the present and guide the future.
