Brendan Smith

I am an organised and dedicated employee, with excellent attention to detail. I have attained a wealth of knowledge and experience in engineering over a career of over forty years in numerous engineering work places. I enjoy work that is challenging, interesting and allows me hands-on involvement from start to finish of project. My last role was as a design draughtsman, working for Carnaudmetalbox Engineering, based in Shipley who manufacture specialised machinery for the can making industry. I enjoyed this role for the variety of challenges it offered and was often given a leading role in new projects.

I am looking for a new career challenge and would really like a similar role that will allow me to use and develop my 3D cad skills.

I am available to start work immediately.

• Served 12 years as a local Cub and Scout leader with 12th Airedale Scouts, Rawdon
• Chief Scouts special commendation for 10 years service to the Scout association
• I was the first county Archery coach and assessor for the Scout Association delivering an instructors training course for adult scout leaders
