- Supporting older adults' emotional, physical, cognitive and social wellbeing.
- Monitor equipment to ensure it is in safe and good working order.
- Ensuring efficient documentation of records in line with policy and legislation and auditing records.
- Work collaboratively and efficiently communicate to ensure excellent care, often working independently.
- Dealing with accidents/emergencies and other highly stressful experiences that may arise, as well as documenting relevant paperwork.
- Ensure the safe administration of medication and awareness of how medications may impact an older adult.

-Reporting concerns or changes in behaviour and adhering to safeguarding policies.
- Empowered individuals to pursue hobbies and leisure activities such as shopping and creative activities.

- Offered palliative care to patients with serious and terminal illnesses.

- Regularly covering the role of 'Assistant Care Manager' when required. This role involves the management of a small team of care staff, ensuring staff adhere to policies, ensuring rota is covered at all times, assisting with the development of the care plans/risk assessments, and directly liaising with family members, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors and social workers.
