My Construction Career really started in London in the 1990's when I moved from Ireland to work for an Irish company based in Harrow called JP Fitzpatricks. I worked for them in London and Northern Ireland until 1996 When I left to work for my two brothers who had formed a limited company doing construction works in the cable and Utility sectors.
I worked in the office for them doing all the clerical work from purchasing to invoicing 7 days a week until we were busy.
We had to take on extra staff we quickly found ourselves getting very busy and very successful. I had to learn very quickly on the job my attention to detail hard work and common sense meant I ran a very efficient and organised office.
We soon grew from strength to strength and with hard work and long hours and a professional and organised office and management team we grew our turnover to a staggering half a billion pounds which put us as a very strong company within our industry.
The company was sold in July 2022 I stayed on with the new owners for 2 years after the sale.
I am ready for the next step in my career and I would love to become part of the McDonald's team I would like to put some of my many years experience, and hard work to build something for myself and my family a business to call my own my legacy.
I did the London Marathon for MNDA in 2025 and got a Guinness World Record which I am very proud of.
