  • Conduct routine and detailed inspections of highways, pavements, signage, etc to ensure safety, quality, and everything is kept to a standard that would be expected of me.
  • Identify road hazards/defects and contact the Regional operations centre if necessary or raise a defect to make the network safe.
  • Input inspection findings through detailed inspections, photographic evidence and grading through Confirm.
  • Collaborate with service delivery, engineering team, route managers to check when schemes are due to improve the network and raise concerns to try and push for permanent works to be done in practical time if the defects are unable to wait due it deteriorating.
  • Designed guides on how to input conditioning inspections so that other departments can use the data more efficiently as well as briefing it out to the other inspectors.
