
I am an hardworking, compassionate and kindhearted nurse with over ten years experience as a nurse. I have diverse clinical experience across acute medical, surgical, orthopedic gynecology and currently working at the clinical research facility. My background has equipped me with strong clinical assessement skills, critical thinking abilities, effective communication skills and time management skills which is very vital in clinical trials. I can work under pressure, prioritise my workload, multitask and still support others in ensuring patients needs are met according to research protocol and as per trust policy. In my current role at the clinical research facility, I am actively involved in supervising students on placement, teaching them about clinical trials and research protocols, providing guidiance ,constructive feedback and a safe learning environment. I also assist in mentoring new starters , teaching and supporting them.I also Co-ordinate shift , delegate responsiblities and allocate task.
Deliver care in accordance with trial protocol,hospital policy and GCP guidelines
~Administer chemotherapy orally, subcutaneously and intravenously via an established central lines and peripheral cannula
~Administration of licenced and unlicenced medicinal product within the context of the trial
~Undertake nursing care of patients ,ensuring privacy and dignity is maintained
~Demonstrate research knowledge when caring for patients receiving treatment within the context of clinical trials protocol
