• Daily inspection of all equipment/vehicles and plant for operational reliability & safety, to help plan for corrective maintenance and to prevent accidents in the operational area
• Continuously suggest and implement modifications on the equipment’s/vehicles based on the required approvals from manufacturers & higher authorities to reduce maintenance costs and improve performance safety of the same
• Ensure that standard safety procedures are followed during maintenance
• Ensure that all work-related activities carried out during the shift are recorded in the log book/work order to help planning staff log the details of work done in the Maintenance management system
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work areas and take proper storage of tools
• Operation and maintenance of Scissor lift, Boom lift, MEWP
• Diagnosed and rectified electrical faults, minimising downtime and optimising system performance
• Reliably completed scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks ahead of agreed timescales to meet and surpass company objectives
• Completed preventive and emergency maintenance across power systems, networks and equipment.

• Responsible for preventive maintenance of conveyor motors, belts, tracks and all essential equipment in relation to conveyor systems as well as pneumatic clutches, brakes and divert stations other duties included repair, replacement and troubleshooting through the use of schematics and diagrams for the conveyors multitude and various hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and electronic systems
• Planned Preventive maintenance and Break Down of all kinds of Automation machinery which comes under the Technical Service Dept
• Completing the Task of Schedules for Monthly, Semi-annual and annual Maintenance
• Dismantling, Servicing and Assembling of various systems and Components
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
• Fault finding and repairing of 3phase motors, VFD, Sensors, light curtains etc
• Fault finding using electrical schematics
• Monitoring the SCADA systems and attend the fault immediately and clear through HMI
• Emergency breakdown maintenance involving arrangement of alternatives and offering temporary solutions to avoid any Cargo Delay

• Master the art of changing equipment wire rope within minimum downtime, thereby disrupting minimal effect to the cargo movements & guiding junior colleagues in working safety

• Servicing the pneumatic equipment for free flow of pressurized air through the pneumatic lines
