  • At TUI UK & I, through hard work and dedication, I was promoted to cabin manager within 12 months of employment. I manage and lead a team of cabin crew, ensuring the safety and well-being of both passengers and staff while delivering a memorable in-flight experience. I coach and develop new crew members, complete performance reviews, and continuously look for ways to enhance team skills and efficiency. I maintain compliance with company safety policies, stay up to date with notices, and complete annual and triennial exams to remain fully qualified. I coordinate communication between the flight deck and crew, oversee pre-flight checks, and ensure on-time departures. Additionally, I contribute to the company’s social media initiatives, generating content and new ideas, and represent TUI at local colleges to engage and inspire prospective cabin crew.

  • This role involved making outbound calls to merchants who had enquired about our card processing services, providing information and pricing, and booking appointments for Business Consultants to close potential deals. I worked towards monthly, quarterly, and annual targets and manage the company’s inbound sales line, ensuring clients receive the best solutions while directing existing customers to the support team when needed.
  • I maintained strong communication with potential clients, ensuring all callbacks are completed, queries are resolved efficiently, and each interaction delivers a high level of customer service. Working in a highly competitive market, I focused on providing an excellent client experience to stand out from competitors.

Traffic Operator

Maritime Transport LTD
2021.07 - 2022.01
  • Within this role, I was responsible for daily coordination and management of 30 tramping truck drivers operating nationwide, ensuring all collections and deliveries were completed on schedule. This was fast-paced role required regular communication with drivers via telephone to monitor progress, provide updates, and ensure tasks were clearly understood.
  • I also managed driver cover for holidays and sickness to maintain operational continuity and prevent delays or financial penalties. This involved using Microsoft Office, planning systems, and rota management tools, while liaising professionally with shipping lines and port authorities via email and telephone.
  • Additionally, I monitored weekly revenue and performance, setting new operational targets and implementing structured plans to improve efficiency and profitability.

Customer Trading Manager

Sainsburys
Southend-on-Sea
2019.07 - 2021.07
  • When working at Sainsburys, I would focus heavily on the customers shopping experience within my store. Within my team, we would creatively produce new ideas on how to make the customers experience easier. By doing this, it allowed the team to aim to replenish the supermarket in a timely and effective manner. When doing this, I needed to communicate the targets of each shift and have open discussions as to how, as a team, we would reach the end target.
  • Alongside the replenishment part of the role, I worked very closely to hundreds of customers who would visit the supermarket each day. During the pandemic of 2019, I would have to answer lots of questions from customers regarding product availability and customer safety during the challenging times. From this, my focus was to always provide the WOW factor to maintain the customers’ expectations. So, I would take extra care with answering with the best solutions and in some cases alternative options for the customers.
  • Furthermore, I would also have the regular duty of completing the end of day banking for the supermarket. This was where all cash proceedings from the day would be counted, collected and placed into the safe each night. Because of my shift patterns, days, evenings and overnights, I would carry this out almost on every shift.
  • I also completed my Personal License exam and passed with flying colours. This allowed me to legally sell or authorise the sale of alcohol within my Store.

Portfolio Management Consultant

First Data LTD
Basildon, Essex
2019.03 - 2019.07
  • In this role, I focused on the retention of the business merchants withing my portfolio. I fulfilled this by completing quarterly business calls to discuss and open the needs of each merchant’s business. This was very important for First Data as there is a huge market of competitors and as a business, they needed to get it right first time. This opportunity enabled the merchants to discuss and issues they were facing and then I would create a solution to resolve the issues.
  • I also communicated daily via telephone and email to merchants regarding their card terminal lease agreements. As a management consultant, it was my role to ensure that merchants where all in lease and covered by warranty. I would then type up and prepare each lease agreement and send this over to merchants to be signed. Once this was completed and returned, their new terminal would be ordered.
  • Whilst working at First Data, it was crucial that I followed the Data Protection laws and legalisation in place to protect every merchant and their sensitive information.

Sales Executive

Allen Ford
Basildon, Essex
2018.08 - 2019.03
  • When working at Allen Ford, I sold new cars as part of one of the world’s largest manufacturers. I would sell and deliver these newly ordered cars to many different clienteles. It was crucial that the customer received their new purchase on time without any delays. And if there were any issues, I would communicate this to the high level to ensure the best customer experience was always maintained. It was very important that I remained punctual and planned my time effectively. Also, I would communicate with customers, senior members at Ford Motor Company and to different departments within the business.
  • Within the sales environment, it was essential to use key teamwork skills to allow everyone to work together effectively. Whilst also using our imagination to generate new and exciting ideas to alter the sales process to meet the needs of the ever-growing different customers. This enabled the team to smash our sales targets set by our company.
  • I would also update and sell the finance options to my customers. For this, I had to get an understanding of their financial needs as well as the products of which they wanted. From this, I would then offer the correct solution for them to make this work. FCA regulation was a huge aspect of my role. It was a crucial financial product within the business, and I had to study and pass exams to enable me to become regulated to sell this product.
  • Once I passed, I would set up direct debits and fill out the financial paperwork with my customers to ensure that my customers fully understood the products that they had chosen.

Shift Manager

PJT Restaurants LTD T/A McDonalds
Basildon, Essex
2015.11 - 2018.08
  • When I was shift manager, I ran and organised shifts of 40 – 60 crew members at a time, handling the cash and following a “Dual Cash” Policy. With this, regularly cashing up tills and being responsible for closing and opening the store.
  • My team maintained a high level of food safety by following checklists, company policies, law and legislation. I had to communicate with customers and other shift managers in my store daily. I would also frequently carry out quality checks on the food to ensure that we were providing safe and the best food possible to our customers.
  • I would use many IT systems in my role, especially My Store and Microsoft office. My Store is a global software which was used to record the waste and employee meal entries as well as inventory. All of which helped to record waste yields and sales records.
  • I also lead the training programme in my store, regularly promoting Crew as part of the training development programme. Which lead to the training standards in my store to be very high. This would then open many opportunities for my crew to progress within the company.
  • Alongside leading the training in my previous role, it was also expected of me to communicate the shift targets and lead the shift regularly. I would fulfil this by ensuring to take the time to get to know my crew and customers. Build trust with them. But also take the time to get to know what motivates them as an individual. The result of doing this would be a strong team coming together and working effectively.

Interests/ Hobbies

I love to socialize with friends and family, walking my sausage dog Marlo and facing new challenges., Furthermore, I enjoy trying new technology and testing out new cars. In my spare time I love to clean and spend time with my animals., In August 2015, I attended a three-week residential stay in Loch Eil, Scotland. During my attendance, I was rock climbing, leading expeditions and building teamwork skills. I was trusted to lead a four-night expedition without an instructor. When planning for this, I would have to delegate tasks for individuals to each complete. I was then able to follow up on these to ensure that they were completed before we set off. It was this which enabled the team to successfully reach the end of the expedition, the top of Ben Nevis., This was such a proud moment for me! I love to work as part of a team and on this day the weather was lovely, we smashed it.
