My experience has been extremely diverse here, i have rebuilt race cars, welded new floors into 8 wheel tippers, shunted arctic lorries, carried out basic and some advanced repairs on every-day vehicles, i've made emergency repairs and have been called out on breakdowns, i have never had a more broad area of work in a single job title and every single day has been different from the last. it has taught me to be alot more versatile and more adaptable in many different situations and to think on my feet.
I started as a machine operator for this company, within my first year i had been promoted to team leader and spent a few years handling many aspects of the company with the company being relatively new, we struggled with staff numbers and retaining staff. This meant as team leader I often had to step in as an engineer, labourer, forklift drifver, and was also on call overnight due to having no engineers on night shift. I was promoted to production supervisor and continued this role until the end of my employment.
I was hired by this company as a storeman/customer sales, however i did take on training and became a "hydraulic seal specialist" after a few months on the job.
