  • In my role, I juggle a variety of tasks to keep office and site activities running smoothly
  • Before any contracted work commences, I connect with contractors to make sure all the necessary paperwork is ready such as, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, work permits, and plant operator certificates
  • On the day of the job, I meet up with the contractors to go over the plan and check in periodically to ensure everything aligns with the RAMS and our scope of work
  • I work closely with the ESG team to maintain compliance on-site and keep our supply stock in check
  • I'm also responsible for raising Purchase Orders for different departments, getting them approved, and ready for the finance team
  • When new equipment comes in that isn’t tracked by Maintmaster, I add it to the Trelavour Asset register and manage the Maintmaster system alongside, keeping everything updated, assigning tasks to technicians, and overseeing compliance audits like yearly PAT testing for electrical gear and six-monthly LOLER inspections for lifting equipment
  • As the Key Holder for the Trelavour Site, I keep the key register up to date
  • I give site-specific inductions to newcomers, whether they’re employees or contractors
  • I regularly check First Aid supplies and that our site defib kits are operational
  • I monitor vehicle repairs through the AssetGo system, and ensure our vehicles get serviced on time, have MOT’s and any repairs needed
  • I conduct weekly fire tests, check fire extinguishers, and do monthly emergency lighting inspections
  • Plus, I manage the COSHH file and carry out monthly legionnaires’ flushes in the utilities block
  • I arrange for the annual fire risk assessment and handle any necessary follow-ups, complete annual PAT testing for the Hard Rock site (except for the demo plant and lab building), and oversee the yearly servicing of all roller shutter doors
  • I also order PPE for everyone, keep tabs on monthly stock audits, and handle deliveries, making sure everything’s offloaded properly
  • I Support Site Technicians and the Quarry Manager with document control and record-keeping is part of my routine
  • Finally, I take minutes during meetings when needed and ensure the health and safety notice boards are always up-to-date and relevant
