Working alongside Nursing Team providing Meals and Snacks . Changing bed linen and towels. liaising with the Facilities team to ensure cleaning and patient laundry is of good standard and general maintenance is acceptable . Auditing equipment and recording patient diet and fluids and fridge temperatures . Helping the patients to choose Healthy food options and Liaising with th Kitchen to ensure we have the correct Food and drink items for all patients and Special Dietary needs.

I keep Stock of items needed in the food Store and keep the Medical and Food Store Clean Tidy and organized in accordance with Environmental auditors.

I ensure Sanitary bins are clean and moving and handling equipment and adaptations are cleaned.

My role is to help maintain patient dignity and confidentiality at all times reporting anything that could harm the Health and Safety of Patients and Colleagues .

Working on a conveyor system using menus to serve food to go to the wards in a hot / cold trolley. Kitchen cleaning and conveyor belt working as a team to empty the food trolleys and wash and sterilize . keeping the kitchen clean and tidy .

Preparing and serving Customers food for takeaway orders . Preparing Hot and Cold sandwiches. Keeping premises clean to the standards of local Government requirements. Ordering and auditing the Cash and Carry .

Working with people with both Physical and Sensory and learning Disabilities To assist them in day to day living in supported tenancies and Care Homes. to encourage independence and be an advocaat where necessary . To Support them to independently do their own shopping and pay bills. Arranging medical appointments and ensuring they turn up . Liaising with outside agencies Social workers, GPs, Dentist .Working both independently and as a Team .

Working in a variety of care settings Care Homes and Service users Homes . Personal support Worker with a Lady with Cerebral Pasly from 1997 - 1998. This was both in her own home and at Werneth Grange Day Services Hyde Cheshire .
