Betty Loades is a storyboard artist based in Hull. She is a graduate from York St John University with a Bachelor of Arts in Animation. Her graduate film, Things Mice Can Do, won the Best Animation award at the York St John graduate awards ceremony, and it is currently in submission to film festivals worldwide.
She has a strong knowledge of visual storytelling and is skilled in using the Adobe Suite and Toon Boom Harmony.
Responsibilities: Engaging with and entertaining customers, sewing, operating the till, upselling, and cleaning
Developed 2D animation assets to assist in the creation of the final 3D character designs to be used the virtual reality game 'They're in the Walls'.
Responsibilities: Assisting with rigging and animating for the NHS Humberside 'Connect' website.
Graduate film 'Things Mice Can Do' will be screened at the York Aesthetica Film Festival 2025.
