I embarked on a journey in teaching driven by a profound passion for empowering individuals and fostering young minds to grow. Teaching, for me, transcends the mere impartation of knowledge; it's about sculpting minds, nurturing potentials, and igniting a love for learning.
Opting to commence my career as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) was a deliberate choice rooted in my desire to make a tangible, immediate impact. Working closely with a SEND child allowed me to tailor my approach to their unique learning style, providing personalised support and ensuring no one is left behind. It's within this dynamic, individualised setting that I witness the transformative power of education firsthand, reaffirming my commitment to this profession.
Since, i have successfully embarked on my PGCE course and I am filled with confidence in my pedagogical practice and subject knowledge but am always looking on furthering my professional development.
This journey has equipped me with invaluable skills in differentiation, communication, and patience, essential qualities for any educator. With a deepened understanding of teaching methodologies and a genuine passion for inclusive education, I am eager to transition into a full-fledged teaching role.
I am committed to continuing my professional development, seeking opportunities to refine my skills, and ultimately, making a lasting difference in the lives of my students.
I am a young, enthusiastic and driven trainee teacher who wants to bring out the best in every child no matter the ability. I am confident within my practice and have received constant positive feedback throughout my PGCE from class mentors and university professors/leaders. I wish to have a positive impact on both pupils and staff and create positive learning and relationships throughout my career.
