As a Product Technologist I am involved in all aspects of the critical path from concept through to launch. Including market research, briefing suppliers, the sample review process, artwork, regulations and compliance. I am able to communicate affectively with all stakeholders of the business and ensure timely launch of products, ensuring that they are safe, effective and meets the needs of the consumer.

As a lab technician at a Fragrance house and raw material distribution company, I have had experience with compounding fragrances, formulating, communicating with suppliers and customers, alongside ensuring quality control of raw materials against specifications.

• Other responsibilities: Calibrating, cleaning, and utilizing equipment for testing; ensuring quality throughout; use of Specific gravity/density machine, Refractive Index machine, Flash point machine, GC-MS; Recording, analyzing, and reporting results and data; Preparing samples of raw materials, checking hazard classes and transport regulations on SDS’s, identifying whether materials can be sent together; Ensuring all samples are within 50% shelf life before sending; Ensuring compliance with ISO and BRC policies; Ensuring Quality control of all raw materials.

As a Technical Co-ordinator I worked closely with NPD, taking own-brand products from concept through to launch. I was responsible in providing technical information, in- house testing, market research, competitor analysis, artwork proofing, consumer research, surveys, data analysis, keeping up to date with industry trends, acting on new regulations such as UK REACH and new palm oil regulations, maintaining relationships between suppliers/customers, managing PIFS and much more.

• Providing high standards of customers service, Working as a team to ensure daily targets are met, Ensuring shelfs are adequately stocked and looking best, Replenishment of stock using sales analysis data.

• Lead the team and delegate appropriate tasks, Ensure tables laid to standard, Greeting Guests and serving at the bar, Ensuring the day or event ran to time and to the appropriate schedule.

• Interviewing prospective Nannies, Matching Nannies with Working families, Inputting of client information onto spreadsheets, Scheduling interview calls and reference calls, Proofreading reference letters and inputtting data onto the system.

I volunteer at Fellowship afloat Charitable Trust as a sailing instructor. I take children of various ages, predominately of primary school age on day sails and also lead team building activities. I enjoy building the children's confidence, ensuring their safety and contributing to their personal and professional development.
