i was fortunate enough to be able to complete work experience in Spain as a museum at the El Capricho de Gaudí house. In this experience i was able to work and learn from a team of staff and expand my customer service skills. i also gained retail experience from working in the gift shop.
At this cafe my responsibilities were cleaning the auditorium (mopping, setting out tables ect ), cleaning toilets, cleaning the meeting rooms and preparing them for service and finally i would waitress every Sunday. I cleaned 3 times a week and was very committed and flexible in my hours. I worked closely with 2 other members of staff when cleaning which allowed me gain teamwork skills.
