I'm a dedicated professional with over 15 years of experience supporting children with special educational needs, including SEMH. I have proven ability to create engaging lesson plans and learning materials that enhance student participation and achievement. I pride myself in being a strong communicator with excellent time management skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. I'm committed to developing independent and confident learners in inclusive environments.
I have attended various courses to enhance my skillset in working with young people, such as Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), along with MELSA training a course run by educational psychologists that help you delve into the psychology of learning, which allowed me to collaborate with department leads and senior management on being able to implement it throughout the academy.
