Summary

I am a final-year Adult Nursing student at the University of Brighton, due to qualify in September 2026, with clinical experience across acute, community and primary care settings. Through a wide range of placements, I have developed skills in patient assessment, venepuncture, ECG recording, wound care, health promotion and multidisciplinary team working.

Before retraining as a nurse, I spent over 16 years with the Royal College of Anaesthetists coordinating national postgraduate medical examinations. This role developed my organisational, communication and problem-solving skills while giving me extensive experience working alongside senior clinicians in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Alongside my studies, I volunteered with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, supporting community HIV testing and health promotion.

I am now looking to begin my career as a registered nurse within a supportive team where I can continue to develop my clinical skills, make a positive contribution to patient care and build trusting relationships while delivering safe, person-centred care.
