In Year 11 held the position of Deputy Head Student

As a part of the role attended weekly meetings to suggest and implement improvements for the school, helped with various fundraising activities for both the school and for charity, and attended various events for the school like open evenings

This role has developed skills such as public speaking and communication with members of staff at the school and any parents I would have to speak to. It also helped to develop my professionalism

Army Cadet Force

Was a member of the Army Cadet Force as a cadet for 5 years, getting high up the rank structure, specifically to Staff Sergeant, requiring high levels of leadership, discipline and respect

Now an Adult volunteer in the organisation, requires teaching cadets various subjects and planning enjoyable activities the cadets will enjoy, while maintaining their safety.

This role continues to develop my leadership, organisational and mentoring skills, as well as reinforcing values such as respect, discipline and commitment.
