• Provide regular firmware upgrades on network infrastructure utilising vulnerability scanning to protect the network
• Firewall management experience from 4 different firewall vendors. Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Checkpoint
• Maintaining and improving network access control measures using Cisco ISE and 802.1x authentication. Successfully reduced internet authentication issues between ISE and Palo alto 100% by paying close attention to similar tickets raised to the team and liaising with Cisco TAC
• Troubleshot network issues between Data-centres using network monitoring tools (PRTG, Grafana, Splunk) and provided solutions to limit downtime.
• Provide timely responses to internal customers requiring network expertise
• Further knowledge in more advanced networking (L7 Firewalls, Vxlan, Cisco DNA/WLC management, SD-WAN,Network Automation through YAML/Git Integration and solarwinds ncm)

• Fast paced and professional NOC environment that can investigate and deal with major incidents 24/7.
• Monitored and maintained production server assets of over 20,000 and many more within Dev and UAT
• Technical centre for third party communication within data centres and internet service providers/MPLS
• Obtained further knowledge in Cisco, Linux, Windows, Out of band management and VMware

• IT engineer managing quickly deployable secret communication installations to 100+ users at once in remote locations.
