At the Lotus I mainly deal with taking orders over the phone and in person as well as communicating those orders onto the kitchen staff, then distributing the orders to the customers. I handle money in person and when paying our delivery drivers. I have had a very good experience at the Lotus, from the customers and staff alike. Having had no experience at this type of job I have had to learn while working and have proved to be a reliable, trustworthy and capable employee. My job demands me to be alert at all times to ensure customer satisfaction. At times I have been trusted and relied on to hand deliver customers orders when the occasion arises.
My duties at this establishment are the preparation, organisation and delivery of daily newspapers. Once the papers are delivered on site it is my responsibility to sort the papers onto the correct rounds then organise them into the delivery order and lastly to deliver them to customers. While with this employer I have been asked to cover holidays and sick leave as I have proved that I 'am a reliable employee and can be trusted to do an exceptional job consistently. I have regularly delivered invoices and collected payment for delivery accounts.
