This business magazine further developed my skills and helped me gain a more professional understanding of the advertising business. Building higher proficiency in tools like Microsoft and information collation. With day to day challenges I had to overcome and constant hard work and effort to produce the results me and my team needed. My skills of persuasion and ability to talk to anyone came in handy due to the high amounts of out bound calls being made to various people of various background and countries. With high pressure to hit the targets I needed, I feel like it reinforced my ability to handle tasks under pressure.

I had taken 6 months to go traveling, it is something I have always wanted to do and it got to a point in which I felt like I needed to. I have seen the most amazing countries and landscapes and spoken to the most amazing people. I feel like now that I have went away I can be more focused on my career and know that I am satisfied with what I’ve done. It has also benefited me in that I have spoken to people from every country and every background which further improves my people skills and my ability to look at things from someone else’s perspective.

This was a very hands on role with a variety of different skills needed in order for it to work accordingly. My job involved calling customers who own property’s and use my persuasive character in order to get them to allow me to get to their home in order to value it. This involved me doing research beforehand in order to create a portfolio of information which was be informative but also interesting to the customer to read. We worked as a 5 man team in which all parts were essential to keep the machine rolling which further implements my ability to before great in a team as we won awards for our branches statistics and profits regularly. As we worked as such a tight team we also had to take on responsibilities of other roles sometimes due to be being busy or if someone was drawn in to doing something e.g holiday or had to go to a different branch, I have the confidence to be able to switch tasks and take on roles even if they are not that familiar to me as I am a fast learner.

Sales Consultant at Currys PC World ‐ this involves speaking with customers to see what services we can provide for them. This means being the face of the brand, which comes with great variety and responsibility. Putting customers first by offering the best advice and connecting them to the right technology and/or products. Which involves using various computer systems to complete sales and provide information. Being a salesman comes heavy into this role as you need to get on the customers best side regardless of background and get the best sale as possible.

In this role I collate and organise daily orders from multiple web stores for Print On Demand services. These customers include Umbro, Led Zeppelin and numerous rock licenses, Forbidden Planet, Amazon, game companies and charities.
Maintain inter department organisation: Digital Printing, Packing & Dispatch. Transfer production and application.
Manage and organise the ordering of stock for our print on demand sector. Maintain workflow administration and progress.
Collate, organise correct mailing labels and services for daily goods dispatch. This is a complicated role (particularly with the new rules and the onset of Brexit), with UK, EU, Rest Of The World requiring various untracked, tracked and signed services.
Update daily reports for the end of month invoicing.
I am part of a 5 person team, usually in the leading role.
Excellent attendance record.

Part time job during my first year of college which helped me develop my team working and customer relation skills. Maintained a clean work environment; ensured the prevention of cross-contamination between raw and cooked foods. Contributed to the maintenance of stock levels, reducing waste and overstock issues.
