Benjamin Angus McWhirter

Ayr,United Kingdom

Summary

I am a skilled writer, actor, and voice actor with experience spanning roles in scriptwriting, stage performance, and voice acting. Notable achievements include; extensive work with the American webseries 'hurt.' which lead to multiple awards and nominations, authoring 'Undead Ed!', performing as one of the lead actors, and being nominated for an RTS award in the animation category for my voice work; I am now seeking creative opportunities to further contribute to storytelling and performance arts. My focus as a writer and actor is the want and need for more Scottish based media, focused and set in Scotland using Scottish talent. Growing up on the Isle of Lewis and spending my formative years in Fort William and spending the time between Ayr and Glasgow during university has widened my range of Scottish based storytelling and I feel I could make a real impact onto putting Scotland on the map for being what it is; a haven for artists.
