Design and Drafting:

• Produced 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit, including general arrangement (GA) drawings, detail drawings, and sections for residential, educational, retail, private homes, and infrastructure projects.
• Developed and maintained schedules, key plans, and layouts tailored to project requirements.
• Applied advanced Revit and AutoCAD features such as plotting sheets for issue, exporting models/drawings in various formats, and importing families for specific design elements.

Project Collaboration:

• Worked closely with senior engineers to ensure quality assurance through check prints and markups, refining drawings until approved for issue.
• Assisted civil engineering team in updating drainage layouts, below-ground drainage drawings, and standard drainage details
• Using engineering calculations and scientific methods to contribute to the design and delivery of complex projects.

Document Control and Management:

• Managed project documents using platforms like Asite, Business Collaborator, 4Projects, and Aconex.
• Collated drawing information to maintain and update document issue registers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project timelines.
• Established and adhered to company numbering systems, accurately naming and organising drawings during project setup.

Site Visits and Reporting:

• Shadowed engineers during site visits to capture key details and photographs, contributing to comprehensive site visit reports.

Key Achievements

Independent Project Modelling:

• Successfully modelled an existing three-story building requiring refurbishment with minimal supervision.
• Integrated architects' models and survey data to produce a complete existing structural model in Revit.
• Collaborated with structural engineers to remodel and update the structure as per provided specifications, producing detailed plans, sections, loadings, foundation layouts, and GAs.
• Contributed to the project's progression to Stage 4 Issue, demonstrating technical expertise and attention to detail.
