Ben Waterman

I have been leading and mentoring the work management team at Hinkley Point C since January 2024 in a seconded role. It has been a pleasure to be able to use my nearly 17 years of experience in work management roles to develop and implement the work management processes at Hinkley Point C.

I am the senior business owner for the Asset Management tool used at HPC, and have been the lead in developing multiple deliverables on the Enterprise Asset Management project. Including Asset Suite (AS9) the introduction of Primavera (P6) and Live Work Order Packages (LWOP).

I am currently taking part in the EDF leading others program, focused on enhancing leadership capabilities and gaining practical insights into effectively guiding and inspiring teams.

Prior to accepting the the Operations Work Management Lead role position I was part of the Work Management Team in pre-operations for four years.

It was my role to develop the Work Management Processes, not only to support the stations critical functions but anticipate the challenges ahead as the station moves through construction, commissioning and into operations.

I was a Cycle Planner / Cycle Co-ordinator at Hinkley Point B for more than ten years prior to joining the Hinkley Point C project. Here I gained valuable experience in Work Management, Maintenance and Outage processes at an operational nuclear power station.

Project Manager: I delivered multiple complex projects on critical items of plant. Including Cooling Water Pump overhauls,

Outage Area Lead: During outages I was the lead for delivering the Cooling Water and and feed and condensate systems work.
