  • In this role, my responsibilities include but are by no means limited to: Handling customer orders and enquiries, such as what drinks would be appropriate for their meals, making and delivering drinks to customers after they have been ordered, handling customer transactions, such as food and drink bills, and keeping our bar stocked and tidy at all times

  • Calm under pressure: I am able to be calm even while there are many customers at one time and just help the next customer with their order then move on accordingly
  • Adaptive problem solving: I am able to help customers with many different enquiries, such as helping them choose an alternative drink if their preferred drink is not avalible, or what sort of wine they would like and if it would go with their meal
  • Multitasking efficiency: My job constitutes a lot of multitasking, and doing more then one thing at a time, such as making drinks while taking another patreons order, and it is imperativete to be able to multitask in many walks of life, including in the workplace
  • Customer service: I am able to help customers with anything that they need, such as guiding them on what drinks or food they should order based on what they like, being able to sit people at certain tables, and relaying information about customers to the appropriate staff, such as a food allergy
  • Communication skills: It is crucial in my job to clearly communicate messages back and forth between staff and customers and be able to be understanding about it, such as why a certain drink is not avalible, or telling staff exactly how a drink should be made if I am on the floor taking drink orders that day

Interests

  • My hobbies include reading autobiographies, my favourite of which are Sports or Political and going to Football matches I enjoy spending time with my friends and enjoy walking in the Mourne Mountains and going to the gym

Accomplishments

  • I was awarded "Excellent Achievement at A-Level" in my school Prize Giving Awards. I also achieved the highest grade in each of my A Level subjects within my year at my school and was awarded Top Achiever in each subject.

Additional Information

  • In addition, I did a week with the SMBP programme in the Summer of 2023, which included a day with companies such as EY and Deloitte, which taught me a lot about how law companies work and reinforced my interest in doing law as a core degree at university
