My name is Ben Foggin and I am currently living in Edinburgh studying music. I am looking to secure some part time employment and would welcome the opportunity to work for your company. I have many good qualities. I am reliable and can work under my own initiative, for example during lockdown I 3D printed PPE visors for Border Pet Rescue, Borders Mountain Rescue and local health care workers. For this work, I was acknowledged by Scottish Borders Council and given their Inspire Award. My interests include; cooking, reading, music, going to the gym, 3D printing and football. I worked as a carer for 1 year, for someone in the village, giving me valuable communication skills and experience working. In the summer of 2025 I was a General Technician for Underbelly during the Edinburgh Fringe. I developed strong technical troubleshooting skills, efficient stage setup and breakdown abilities, and confidence working with lighting, sound, and venue equipment. I gained experience collaborating under pressure, adapting quickly to changing schedules, maintaining health and safety standards, and supporting performers and crew to ensure smooth, professional show operations, as well as helping, guiding and communicating with members of the public. Through this experience i have worked in other venues such as liquid rooms and lyra art space. I am the president of a society called the Music Culture Society that entails planning events, working with venues and hiring them out, promoting people's music and leading a team to deliver the best services to our members. I am a motivated individual with a diverse skill set in communication, problem-solving, and community engagement. I will deliver a high-quality support through attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence. Brings enthusiasm and initiative to all tasks, driving positive outcomes in collaborative settings.
