As a fixed term customer support advisor at Charis Grants, I have gained invaluable office experience and taken my first steps into the corporate world. My main responsibility so far has been working on the park homes warm home discount scheme in which I have adopted a role that is heavily customer facing. I have shown an excellent level of customer service, maintained a positive and enthusiastic attitude, collected and analysed data, and grown in confidence in a short period of time.
In this role, I worked in a fast paced environment, whilst always upholding the exemplary standards expected of me. Some of my primary responsibilities included manning the coffee machine, greeting customers, taking and processing orders and managing stock deliveries. This role greatly enhanced my organisational skills as it meant I had to think strategically, often prioritising certain tasks based on importance. I also learnt how to work as part of a team.
I qualified as a football referee at 14 and officiated grassroots football games for 4 years. I grew in confidence, built up rapport with local coaches, and even progressed onto officiating academy football. Each game, I had to make split second decisions under pressure which has greatly enhanced my ability to make quick decisions, think clearly, and not be swayed by opinions of others.
