  • Confidently spoke with local businesses to establish mutually beneficial fundraising initiatives - I did this a number of ways such as selling pizza at Local Pub, Chapleford family summer fair.
  • Organised charity events, generating public interest and support I did this a number of ways. I was determined to climb Mount Snowdonia to raise funds plus arranged a music charity night at a local social club, gaining vital funds from ticket sales, food sales on the evening, entertainment activities on the night too.
  • I liaised with local businesses to source worthy prizes for the charity evening and summer fair too.
  • Built strong relationships with potential donors for increased funding opportunities, I was able to achieve this by talking to my local community about the benefits of my volunteering expedition and what my charity work would do for the community in Kenya.
  • Led volunteer teams to ensure successful fundraising events, I took the lead in arranging the marketing for the charity night and lead a team to provocative seek ticket sales for the evening.
