  • Directed and Implemented 18 European Union-funded Micro projects on behalf of rural communities in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District of Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria Organised and developed and trained 10 people from each of the communities on the techniques of Project Management. Those trained formed the Project Management Committee. Engaged with various agencies both statutory and non-statutory in the successful implementation of the project. Devised exit strategy, which included ongoing sustainability process to ensure that continued funding and other resources were in place.. Held a series of consultation and focus group meetings with various agencies and communities and wrote proposals that were incorporated into the Akwa-Ibom state. This was a World Bank assisted Project Development Programme for HIV/AID. I led a team of 10 from my organisation? Which resulted in providing technical assistance to 17 Non Government Organisations (NGOs) and CBO’s In full Developed and implemented monitoring and strategic frameworks derived from the work programme on project management in the areas of reporting, evaluation, financial accountability and systems procurement and others on goods and services. Worked strategically to develop, implement and review action plans for service delivery and employment. Trained groups of youths/women through workshops, seminars School/Church based Programmes within communities, in particular the importance of good health care in their lives. The consultation and focus group meetings encouraged participation by most of the people, which help them to make informed decisions. Quality Assurance Prepared reports to evaluate that as a voluntary organisation regulated by guidelines of funding bodies with a specific mandate to provide facilities services to the local people they serve. That various partners within the project are complying with its duty both in service delivery and employment. Analysed minutes of meetings, quality assurance measures including data on complaints, incidents both internally and externally. Worked closely with external stakeholders’ police, Social Services, Primary Care Trust, General Practitioners, voluntary groups and others.
