• Design casting technologies using CAD, MAGMASOFT simulation and engineering best practices.
• Develop manufacturing documentation, process instructions and production standards.
• Create 3D models and technical drawings using Solid Edge to support process development and tooling manufacture.
• Prepare CNC programmes using NX CAM for pattern equipment production.
• Support quotation activities by developing preliminary manufacturing concepts and estimating tooling requirements.
• Coordinate trial castings, investigate technical issues and implement process improvements prior to serial production.
• Collaborate with customers, Production and Quality teams to optimise manufacturability, quality and cost.
