Barry Watts

Middle Barton, Chipping Norton,Oxfordshire

Summary

I am a extremely reliable, supportive, and motivated individual with over two years of previous employed experience as a Maintenance Plumber. Through all my work, I demonstrate and deliver effective people skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a wider team.

Having previously worked within a secure setting I feel that I am prepared of the possible expectancies and envisage as to what would be to work within HMP Bullingdon following having worked within RAF sites.

For personal reasons I have continued in my current position as a porter within the NHS in order to assist and support family childcare responsibilities.

During this time, I have maintained many learned skills through building a profile within the locality of where I reside, often fixing, maintaining and carrying out tasks related to plumbing installing, fixing and maintaining plumbing related issues within my current remit.

I have come to experience that currently it is the right time of my carer to return to full-time plumbing and feel that should I be given the opportunity of being interviewed, I would hope to translate at my suitability for this role and how I would be willing to undertake the required training in order to become a very-skilled individual upon which I could be relied on to support and mentor others in the future.
