Additional Information

I worked with Logistics Companies delivering goods to Russia/Australia/South Africa/Canada/ Europe as well as throughout the Uk and Ireland. This entailed working with Freight Companies both by Sea/Road and sometimes Air. I developed systems to deliver in the most cost effective and efficient way. We had not delivered to these countries previously, so by consulting with Supply Chain Management, we were able to fulfil the orders. With Russia it was overly complex and required an Export Declaration from the Chamber of Commerce from where the goods exited.

· When working with Ripstop’s Sister Company (Boi Trading) I again developed procedures to deliver goods into Southern Ireland with DCTS (Developing Countries Trading Scheme) This is an incentive for developing Countries to be able to deliver goods to Europe and the UK duty free. If the goods enter UK free circulation, then duty automatically applies. The goods were held in bonded warehousing in the UK, so to avail of the benefits off zero duty, working with Logistics Companies I delivered into Ireland, duty free, with savings of 12-16%.
