- I received an overview and hands-on experience in various operational fundamentals of cars, including their maintenance and necessary repair techniques. I was frequently tasked with running diagnostics on the cars in the workshop while they were being driven, was taught the correct ways to replace engine parts such as the coolant and learned how to use spark plugs to jumpstart a car. Being taught these skills gave me a deeper understanding of how cars are manufactured and how engines are assembled.
