With the various activities that I participated in , I have without a doubt learnt some fundamental lessons on the way which has enhanced my skills and increased my determination In year 8, I had the pleasure to take part in the school production Grease , where I was given the role as an ensemble and took part in various dances on stage and also allowing me to engage myself with multiple people from various year groups increasing my social skills and enhancing my confidence We had rehearsals after school two days a week til 4:30 sometimes 5:30 I learnt the skill of resilience, during the production as I was always punctual , always contributing ideas with the production squad emphasising how I determined I was to make the production magical From Year 7 and Year 9 , I attended a netball club and was always punctual , whether it was a Friday morning 7:30 lesson or a Tuesday after school I was always there In the netball club , I learned factors such as being efficient with the ball , being adaptable ( being able to play multiple positions) and being patient with my teammates These factors I learnt by playing sport had never occurred to me that I can utilise them in my daily life as efficiency , adaptability, punctuality and patience are all fundamental values that I have incorporated into my life and have no regrets as these factors emphasise how much of an excellent worker that I am I also had the opportunity to be picked to be a part of a mini dragons den , where we had to go to Premier Cinema to pitch an idea to entrepreneurs about how we as a society can help the homeless The fact that i had gotten picked to be a part of this opportunity highlights the fact that I am a hard worker that presents diligent and determined attitude , which I believe are the characteristics of a hard worker During , my five years at secondary I was fortunate enough to receive many post cards home explaining to my parents my achievements in specific subjects Not to mention being voted the most hard working student in the whole year by my teachers and been given a student of the month two months in a row and a golden ticket meaning the best student in the year could win a prize I was very pleased with myself and i will continue to portray these characteristics for the foreseeable
