As a full-time student at Warwick Business School, I have developed a wide range of skills that may benefit me in the workplace, including communication and leadership. I achieved a 1st in Financial Management and a 2.1 in Financial Accounting in my first term. This year, I have actively participated in societies such as the Warwick Finance Society and the University's Rugby team. I have recently been elected Tour Secretary for the University of Warwick Rugby Club, where I am in charge of managing club funds and allocating them to fund a domestic and international tour for the team, whilst liaising with travel companies such as Ryan Air and different bars, restaurants and hotels to accommodate 75 members of the club.
Having previous experience from a shadowing opportunity with KPMG Hong Kong specifically in their US Tax Department, the experience has inspired me to create an online business focusing on collectable goods, whilst running this business I have had the success of receiving fifty plus 5 Star Reviews, whilst at first juggling my A-Levels and currently juggling a full time degree at one of the worlds most prestigious Business Schools. During this period, I have learnt how to manage inventory and communicate with customers and other retailers to meet their needs. Moreover, over these two years, my small business has grown from £ 5,000 in sales in my first year to £55,000 this calendar year.
Moreover, in 2020, I started utilising different blockchains to identify different protocols and NFTs to invest in. During this period, I spent most of my time researching protocols that yielded the highest results. This experience allowed me to learn how to research various financial tools whilst balancing a full-time student schedule during online school. Additionally, after spending 2 years investing in various protocols, I decided to dabble in perpetual trading. During this time, I managed a portfolio worth around £25,000, seeking opportunities to leverage it. This opportunity allowed me to develop skills in risk management and in identifying investment opportunities based on real-world events.
