• WELDING INXPECTIONS ACTIVITIES AND JOB RESPONSABILITY:
• Checking of consumables used in welding to ensure compliance with project specification.
• Checking of material test report or certification in compliance with Material specification.
• Checking of weld joint preparation and peripheral edge of flat plate.
• Ensure welding process, preheat and Interpass temperature are in accordance to approved specification.
• Monitor Welders performance and to ensure that they performed with the limits of their qualifications.
• Ensure that essential variables are in accordance to approved specifications.
• Ensure safe and proper welding practices are employed at all times.
• Ensure that heat treatment is performed under control and approved procedures.
• Carried visual and dimensional inspections.
• Verification of repair work and repair weld.
• Preparation of inspection report and documentation of all related fabrication inspection and tests report.
• To measure planar discontinuities, esp. lamination, crack incomplete fusion, inclusions & voids.
• Inspection of lamination, seam / laps, and crack other defect in plate and pipe are measured & also its thickness using UT meth.
• Dimensional measurement of metal thickness as corroded material for wall thickness.
• Visual Inspection of each pass during welding.
• Familiar with the base materials and consumable specifications and that welding filler metals used are as specified for materials.

• WELDING INSPECTION ACTIVITIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
• Perform inspection before welding, during welding, and after welding in accordance with approved WPS and project specification.
• Check the welding preparation, fit up, dimensional control according to WPS and specification.
• Check the end preparation of part to be welded shall conform to the joint design as specified the drawing and draw up in the applicable welding procedure specification.
• During the welding ensure that welding is done in compliance with the applicable WPS and specification.
• Checking the inter pass temperature periodically.
• Visual inspection, the welds shall be in accordance with applicable category mentioned in drawing and the corresponding acceptance criteria.
• If reject during the visual inspection, report to supervisor as well to welding foreman / supervisor for the correction action.
• Weld finally accepts are requested for NDT by qc supervisor to NDT subcontractor.
• Ensure that all Structural welding shall be conforming, as minimum, to the acceptance criteria as defined in AWS D1.1 2006 and TOTAL specification GS EP STR 301.
• Large Bore piping specification are B31.3, GS EP PVV 611 the acceptance for visual inspection shall be as per ASME B31.3.
• Small bores follow the FMC WDS – 000015 AND GS EP PVV 611. Specification.

• WELDING INSPECTION ACTIVITIES AND JOB RESPONSABILITIES:
• I follow up duplex and super duplex welding according to the quality system of ISO 3834-2, and witness welders' qualification test for the project according ASME IX, as Applicable.
• I follow welding process accordance with document No AOKD-VGE-UPZZZ-076010.
• All NDT activities with accordance with ASNT LEVEL3, EN473, LEVEL3.
• The visual inspection according with ASME B31.8, and following visual inspection, volumetric examination, surface examination.

• Check the setting of the PFM & the beveling tool bit.
• Acceptance Criteria: Fit – up beveling as per WPS.
• Check the material after cutting to size.
• Ensure that identification code is transferred to each section of item to adjustments of DJ.
• Acceptance criteria: Presence of the correct identification number.
• Visual inspection of edges preparation length and high/ low check for each weld.
• Check welding material to use are in compliance with the storage conditions and the applicable WPS.
• Acceptance Criteria: handling & storage procedure for welding consumable.
• Check the welder & welding operators are qualified.
• Acceptance criteria: API 1104. Welding of pipeline and related and facilities.
• Acceptance Criteria: GS EP PLR 421, Site welding of carbon steel pipeline to API 1104.
• Check correct WPS, consumables and welding parameter are being used for each type of weld.
• Visual inspection of weld 100%
• Acceptance criteria: GS EP PLR 421, Site welding of carbon steel pipeline to API 1124 (Mild intermediate and sever sour service).
