1. Welbeck St Office Outfit Project (August 2024 - Present)

Responsible for supervising a £500,000 commercial office CAT A fit-out project in central London with a team of 14 construction professionals.

My core responsibilities include;

• Delivering a high-quality finish on CAT A fit-out projects, meeting all client expectations.
• Monitoring construction progress regularly and ensuring that all work adheres to project designs and plans and stays within budget constraints.
• Conducting daily briefings to keep staff updated about project status and changes.
• Ensuring a safe and efficient site while complying with all health and safety regulations.
• Coordinating with subcontractors to ensure timely task completion without compromising on quality and building strong relationships for effective communication and collaboration.
• Managing material procurement, anticipating potential shortages, and ensuring timely delivery to minimise downtime.
• Mentoring junior staff and apprentices to create a positive learning environment on the site.
• Facilitating regular meetings with stakeholders, enhancing transparency in operations.

• Successfully completed a high-quality CAT A office fit-out project on schedule.

2. Coal Yard Project (November 2023 - July 2024)

Responsible for managing the technical execution of a £800,000 project at Coal Yard Drops, London, involving the installation and integration of advanced LED lighting and DMX control technologies.

With a team of 5 skilled electricians and other trades, the duties included;

• Coordinating and executing the installation of cutting-edge LED lights and DMX controllers at Coal Drop Yard's Kissing roof.
• Rigorously testing electrical systems using advanced technology and tools.
• Conducting thorough inspections of electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or potential repairs, ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Strategically allocating team members and materials to drive on-time completion of tasks.
• Assessing project scope and developing compelling quotes to meet project requirements.
• Tracing and diagnosing electrical malfunctions using precision hand tools and state-of-the-art test equipment.
• Ensuring the highest safety standards by ensuring that proper PPE is worn at all times.

Accomplishments:

• Successfully installed over 300m of LED tapes and 87 LED lights, delivering a flawless LED lighting and DMX control system that met all client specifications and performance requirements.
• Ensured meticulous adherence to quality standards and electrical codes throughout the project, resulting in a first-time pass on all inspections
• Effectively managed a team of 5 electricians, 4 metal workers, and 3 labourers to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of the project.

Brierly Place Project

Supported the site management team with a comprehensive Cat B fit-out project at Brierly Place. The project also involved installing external and car park lighting, EV charging points, a shower block, a plant compound, and a generator.

My responsibilities included:

• Enforced strict adherence to PPE regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Effectively communicated and interpreted electrical and mechanical drawings to the team, ensuring clear understanding and accurate execution of tasks.
• Successfully completed new electrical installations and lighting repairs across 8 facilities, ensuring functionality and compliance with regulations.
• Consistently ensured all electrical work was executed to the highest standards, adhering to relevant industry regulations and best practices.
• Actively participated in weekly team meetings to monitor project progress, identify potential challenges, and contribute to effective solutions.
• Collaborated with recruitment agencies to source skilled electricians for the project team, ensuring adequate staffing levels and expertise.

As a key member of an electrician team working on a major bank project in Central London, my role involved conducting surveys, testing, and inspections of electrical installations across 10 facilities. I was responsible for identifying and rectifying faults, installing cutting-edge smart lighting systems, and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards.

• Successfully prepared and painted over 30 council facilities, including filling gaps and ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Installed plasterboards and completed plastering work in 60 council facilities, ensuring smooth and even surfaces for subsequent finishing.
• Improved energy efficiency in 60 council facilities by installing thermal insulation, contributing to reduced energy consumption and improved comfort.
• Completed comprehensive renovations in over 60 council houses, including repairing leaks, replacing bathrooms and kitchens, and ensuring functionality and compliance with building regulations.
• Installed vinyl and tile flooring in all council residential houses, ensuring durable and aesthetically pleasing finishes.
• Performed various carpentry tasks across all facilities, including installing doors, framing walls, building cabinets.
