• Provided patient care, performed assessments and interventions at a 12 bed ICU and 4 bed CCU unit trauma, post-surgical and cardiac patients.
• Assessed patient's condition, notified physicians of clinical changes as well as prepared and implemented patient care plans.
• Monitored vital signs, adequacy of ventilation and level of consciousness and plan.
• Administered medications as determined by thr patient's condition ( IV, IM, Sub-cutaneous, etc).
• In conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, participate in setting, monitoring and maintaining excellent standards of care.
• Check inventory of all equipment, crash carts and instruments as per the inventory registered and inform the senior in case of any discrepancies.
• Communicated the patient's condition to family members in a compassionate and non-technical manner.
• Documented the initial assessment findings in the progress note.
