Marine Fit Out Engineer.

I completed a four-year Level 3 Marine Engineering apprenticeship before progressing to a fully qualified Marine Engineer, gaining extensive experience building, installing and commissioning luxury yachts.

  • Installation and securing of marine electrical cable runs throughout the vessel.
  • Installation of fresh water systems, grey water pipework, and bilge pumps.
  • Wiring and installation of 240V AC and 24V DC distribution systems, negative rail boxes and electrical bonding.
  • Installation of interior and exterior lighting, LED lighting, entertainment systems, televisions, Wi-Fi equipment and multimedia systems.
  • First and second engine alignments.
  • Final installation of Volvo Penta D13-1300 inboard diesel engines.
  • Wiring and complete installation of Cummins marine generators.
  • Installation of hydraulic components and steering systems.
  • testing and fault-finding of onboard electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
  • Conducting smoke tests, fuel pressure tests and leak tests.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults.
  • Installing, wiring and commissioning panoramic sliding roof systems.
  • Completing quality control documentation and working to company standards while consistently delivering high-quality workmanship.
