Working within the Finance Technology team under Group Functions Technology, I am contributing to the design, development, and support of scalable financial solutions used by a global user base. My responsibilities include designing and automating metadata and data loads using Azure DevOps to streamline deployment pipelines and reduce manual effort. I am actively enhancing and optimizing data integration rules to improve the performance and reliability of financial data flows. This involves updating and maintaining Hyperion calc scripts and Groovy rules to support complex financial calculations across planning applications. I provide ongoing support to over 600 users worldwide, ensuring the smooth execution of monthly finance processes and managing quarterly user recertification. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and solution architects, I focus on improving system architecture, monitoring, and alerting capabilities. I also lead responses to production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and carry out detailed post-mortems to enhance system resilience. Additionally, I am developing automation solutions to reduce operational toil and increase reliability, while proactively measuring system capacity and addressing performance bottlenecks to ensure scalability and availability.
