Whilst working as a gardener I did a multitude of tasks. I assisted with pruning overgrown shrubs and clearing the debris to enhance the garden's overall look. I co-operated with other gardeners as a team to carry out tasks effectively.
During my last year at secondary school, I was chosen as the farm prefect. This meant I was tasked with the leadership and representation of the school farm. This role allowed me to lead students to farm competitions and allowed me to become a role model for younger students to follow. In my time as the farm prefect, I assisted with many aspects of the farm, from organizing kit boxes to deciding what equipment was needed for the Kent Agricultural Show. I also helped teach the younger students how to handle and train animals. As part of my role as farm prefect, I attend numerous meetings with the headmaster and senior members of staff to inform them about the runnings of the farm and what can be done to improve it.
