Client Engagement Manager

  • I previously worked at Moneypenny in the capacity of a Client Engagement Manager, the job role entails looking after a list of high prospect clients within our Legal and Finance sectors
  • I regularly meet with and review the accounts of all clients to maintain a healthy relationship and ensure that they are receiving the expected service, this includes managing the account, completing reports, advising on new and existing products that I think may fit their needs along with many other jobs
  • Along with this I am also responsible for the upkeep and retention of said clients, currently within sector I maintain a retention rate of 32% of all clients who provide notice, superseding company expectation of 20% against annual plan
  • All work is completed via our CRM system and managed by myself as this role is independent to myself showing I am capable of working solo, whilst we do have a small team of other Client Engagement Managers to assist, the role also comprises of corresponding with our Sales Team and attending in person events and conferences, this can be anything from interfacing with existing clients and performing in person account reviews to selling services to new potential customer who may never had heard of the services we provide before
  • Attended site visits and company events, respresenting the company in a formal environment and selling Moneypenny products to potential clients during events such as Accountex and LawNet.
  • No one day is the same as the last in this role as flexibility is key to the success of this role, ensuring that you can alter and adapt to the profile and personality of clients both existing and potential.

  • I previously headed up Moneypenny's charitable organisation 'Raising Pennies' this includes many responsibilities such as planning and running meetings, assisting to create content and managing social media for our Workplace account
  • This is great experience for roles in Marketing as it has allowed me to help put Moneypenny into the local community more, coordinating with charities and organising to meet with the charities we support representing Moneypenny on a new level, I have also been to our US Office in June to set up the same organisation over there
  • I believe this shows a level of commitment as I am always willing to put in extra hours to show support for this and has helped me in regards to planning and meeting deadlines for events.

Personal Assistant/Team Leader

  • Starting in September 2017 as a PA I went through four weeks of training to specialise myself into telephone answering and what it meant to work at Moneypenny, as a company, great pride is taken in customer service skills as the interview process is very lengthy and involves several tests in English, Mathematics, Language, and your general typing skills
  • The company is split into several departments in which each PA will specialise into a certain sector based on personality, interest and knowledge to which I was placed into the Automotive sector looking after clients such as garages, parts manufacturers, auctioneers, booking lines and even brand head offices
  • During my time at Moneypenny I have had the privilege to represent the company at events at Donnington Race Track working with brands such as Mazda and BMW and was selected to travel to the Moneypenny office in South Carolina to assist with training off staff and to show how we help our customers in our UK office (this however was halted due to flight restrictions caused by the pandemic and has since been rescheduled to go ahead in their new office in Atlanta, Georgia following loosening of restrictions)
  • During my time in the US office, I lead a team of 10 people in our Legal Sector so have a broader experience of dealing with clients in the US and helping to manage and set their expectations as well as guiding our US team in their day to day role and helping them advance in their roles
  • Day to day I manage a small team of five as a team leader, instructing and assisting my team wherever necessary, this can mean anything from call listening to assure of quality, to contacting clients to resolve their queries and anything and everything in-between, and have also assisted in the training of both new staff to my own team and within the Moneypenny training team for new staff members
  • Being in my position also means I hold my own client list which I look after myself which includes several car brands, I maintain the role as their first point of contact for any queries so being alert and paying attention is always key to my success as we can deal with anything from the range of 200 calls and emails a day meaning the ability to multi-task is of grave importance.

  • Following from my departure of retail, I branched into telephony, this job role was involved with a startup company which specialised in telesales for insurance products, initially this was to an American client base which meant working night shifts on a three on/three off basis working twelve hour shifts
  • During my time with the company I developed skills in both communication and language as this assisted me to speak to a wider set audience and break dialect barriers, this also meant I furthered my sale skills as our job was based on conversion rates of clientele to insurance providers
  • I developed many skills during my time here, from quality assurance, to body language in sales and even geographical skills, having learned and memorised all fifty American states and being able to list them all in under three minutes - all of which assisted me in conversing with a unique customer base.
