> Hypertension, Hypotension, Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Acute Bronchitis, UTI, Anemia, Depression, Anxiety, Skin Problems, Vascular Disease, ENT Problems, MaxFax problems, Ophthalmic problems, Orthopedic problems.

> Appendectomy, Breast biopsy, Cancer, Hysterectomy, Hysteroscopy, laparoscopy cases, RTA, Thyroidectomy, Laryngectomy, Colostomy, PEG insertion, etc..

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assess and admit patient as per patients’ conditions
• Performing highly specialized professional nursing duties in the adult clinical setting, ensuring that high standard of patient care is delivered in accordance with Hospital policies and procedure and NMC standards.
• Implemented and evaluated care plan efficiencies, identifying and addressing concerns to improve treatment outcomes.
• Maintained accurate records of care to facilitate smooth and effective ward operations.
• Led treatment updates with patients and families using patient-friendly terminology.
• Maintained the privacy, dignity and safety of all patients, consistently adhering to health and safety policies.
• Accurately and efficiently administered medication as per EPMA and hospital policy
• Provided basic patient care and treatment, such as taking temperature and blood pressure and wound dressing as well as helping in meeting personal needs.
• Monitored patient reactions after administering medications and IV therapies.
• Supported diagnoses by taking blood, urine or sputum samples from patients for laboratory testing.
• Caring Tracheostomy, Laryngectomy.
• Administer Feeds and medications through PEG, RIG and NG.

Surgical/Gynecology/Antenatal ward

Minor/major acute cases/diagnoses encountered:

• Medical- Hypertension, Diabetes, Respiratory Problems, H1N1, Asthma, Acute Bronchitis, UTI, beta and alpha-thalassemia, obstetric cholestasis, Pre-eclampsia, IDA, RDS, PPH, post-menopausal bleeding
• Surgical- Appendectomy, Breast biopsy, c-section, vaginal delivery, cholecystectomy, D&C, Burns, Hysterectomy, Hysteroscopy, laparoscopy cases, re-suturing, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, oophorectomy, bilateral tubal ligation, mastectomy, RTA
• IUGR, cleft lip and palate, Talipes, cellulitis, hernia, Appendicitis, Fractures etc..

List duties and responsibilities:

• Assess and admit patient as per patients' conditions

• Acted as a strong leader for nursing personnel during shift duties
• Auditing the medication administration OMINICELL discrepancy according to JCIA standards
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care to the patients
• Scheduled patients for surgical procedure
• Pre-op preparations
• Post-op cares
• Provided basic patient care and treatments, such as wound dressing, give enemas and perform catheterizations, Redivac care, pneumatic compressor use
• Assisted patients with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed, standing and walking

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess evaluate and admit patient as per her diagnosis
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care to the patients
• Scheduled patients for surgical procedure and handled discharges in operation room
• Ensured pre-surgery protocols and provide high quality patient care in operation room
• Performed all tasks with a patient-centered focus
• Performed functions of circulating and scrub nurse
• Ensured equipment was functioning properly and maintained stock supplies
• Provided Post-operative support and education to patient and family members
• Observe patients and prioritize nursing interventions to expedite healing and recovery after surgery
• Utilize clinical expertise to remove sutures, administer medications and injections, administer IV therapy, test glucose levels and provide wound care as appropriate to post surgery management
• Received antenatal mother, conducted delivery and continued care with postpartum
• Educating the mother how to give the baby bath and how to change the pampers, how to feed the baby, giving health education according to the needs, as well as about the breastfeeding and maintenance of lactation.

Operation room/ medical surgical/ labour room/ obstetrics and genecology ward

• Act as a strong leader for nursing personnel in operation room
• Scheduled patients for surgical procedure and handled discharges in operation room
• Ensured pre-surgery protocols and provide high quality patient care in operation room
• Performed all tasks with a patient-centred focus
• Performed functions of circulating and scrub nurse
• Ensured equipment was functioning properly and maintained stock supplies
• Provided Post-operative support and education, wound dressing, catheter care, redivac care, suture removal
• Receiving patient for surgical cases, preparing for surgery and providing post op cares as per cases
• Received antenatal mother, conducted delivery and continued care with postpartum
• Educating the mother how to give the baby bath and how to change the pampers, how to feed the baby, giving health education according to the needs, giving health education about the breastfeeding and maintenance of lactation, etc
