Bloomberg’s Portfolio & Risk Analytics solution, PORT, is used to analyze multi-asset portfolios. It offers risk and scenario analysis, performance and attribution analysis, portfolio characteristics and optimization

Roles and Responsibilities:

• PORT reliability engineer for APAC and EMEA Clients; handling analytics related queries from client
• Resolving the application related technical issues to ensure system stability
• Performing data validation of the overnight run of the batch to ensure that the Analytics published on the Bloomberg terminal are accurate
• These analytics are being used by all the enterprise clients of Bloomberg PORT
• Perform Data acquisition activity to update the prices and corporate actions in Bloomberg valuation calculations
• Working on tooling to automate the manual tasks done by the team
• Building Qlik Sense dashboards
• Building and setting up Linux and Windows virtual machines and migrating the applications from physical to virtual estate

Barclays Index, Portfolio and Risk Solutions (IPRS) also known as BRAIS is a leading provider of indices and portfolio analytics

Roles and Responsibilities:

• User IT Support and regional escalation contact for POINT users in Asia Pacific region
• Automate repetitive manual tasks by writing shell scripts
• Track outages to completion in the Problem Tracking System
• Perform Start of Day and End of Day checks
• Chair the change acceptance meeting and act as a gate keeper of the production environment to ensure it is protected
• Perform release activities and post release verification
• Plan, implement and test disaster recovery activities

Project Overview:

Equity Finance GSD is a direct business facing team which provides front to end L2 support for SBL (Stock Borrow Lending) desk

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Providing support to different applications in Production environment
• Providing UAT related support activities
• Assisting in deployment of Pre-Production and Production releases and performing the check-outs after the deployments
• Handling requests/issues reported by users and work based on priority depending on criticality or business impact
• Helping with on-boarding of Clients to use SBL business/services

IMEX is the leading trade finance system used by DBS Bank to handle high volumes of trade finance activity

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 and level 3 support for IMEX application
• Investigate and resolve incidents raised by the business users
• Monitoring of the IMEX online application and ensure that the production environment is healthy and available throughout
• Participate in the yearly DR drill for the IMEX application

Project Overview:

‘Basel II’ is the new capital adequacy framework and adopts a more risk-sensitive approach, including credit ratings

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Interact with business users and resolve queries on regulatory reporting
• Application Support, Client interactions and Batch monitoring for Basel II regulatory Applications
• Monitor the health of batch processes and work at investigating failures / anomalies
• Writing Shell Scripts to automate manual tasks and checks
• Escalate incidents/issues to higher-level support or management as appropriate
• Managing fix and changes on the production environment, getting them deployed, verified and permanently fixed

MSIT (Marketing Services Information Technology) maintains the credit data, does credit scoring, decisioning and provide the reports to its client as per the filter conditions specified by them

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the overnight batches in Autosys and Mainframe Jobtrac and ensuring the timely completion of batch cycle and hence meeting the SLA
• Investigation and resolution of job failures
• Handling user issues related to the credit reports
