- In my most recent role within Muriel's Cafe Bar, I found myself adapting to a quirkier theme, more discerning customer base and overcoming the challenges that came with it. I worked both on the main downstairs bar as well as hosting private functions within the upstairs 'Monkey' and 'Escobar' rooms. Hosting private functions, I felt I elevated my customer service skills to a superb level and that each and every guest felt welcomed, entertained and engaged.

My last employers managed a venue that hosted a wide range of events and evenings, with an outdoor bar, VIP bar and nightclub all present on site. Whether I was bartending at a club night or the 2024 European Championship Final screening, I felt I provided a dedicated, friendly and efficient level of service to all customers.

On many occasions, I recommended items best suited to both customers requests and my own personal opinions of fashion, resulting in customers leaving the store delighted with their purchase; something I found to be incredibly fun and rewarding. In addition to this, I seamlessly adjusted to working behind clothing shop tills and managing returns and item queries.

- In my role as a bartender at a popular Indian street food restaurant, I feel I truly grew in my experience of working in hospitality. I overcame challenges in learning the specifications of a previously unfamiliar range of unique, in-house cocktails, as well as keeping to a consistent pace to match the business of the restaurant at peak hours while ensuring an excellent service was provided to customers. I had the opportunity to work both independently in my role and in tandem with a colleague to form a highly effective team when needed. I also feel that in this role, I gained a new level of passion and dedication towards the presentation of my work; I found it highly rewarding to create cocktails that impressed customers both visually and taste-wise.

- Working at Co-Op supermarkets, my main responsibilities were ensuring the products were neatly displayed, managing store inventory and ensuring that items nearing expiration were repriced and responding to customer queries both relating to specific products or payment via the self checkout machines. I felt I met these responsibilities flawlessly and took pride in how presentable the store could become.
