Have taken on challenging new roles harnessing interpersonal skills, collaboration and problem-solving roles, learnt from my hands on work with lifeguard responsibilities, labouring and leadership work. Lifeguarding for Lazer Camp at Blundells school, working with experienced team leaders to guide and look after children between the ages of 6 – 14, ensuring health and safety requirements adhered to and carried out.
Work experience in manual labour on building sites, learning numerous skills quickly and efficiently and being able to carry them out safely. Responded well to a variety of instructions to successfully deliver on tasks within tight deadlines, meaning others on the site were able to rely on me to get certain jobs done.
Volunteer work at a children’s art and forest school, acting as a team leader to manage and supervise children through a variety of activities around a farm setting.
- In May of 2021 I completed my NPLQ Indoor Lifeguard course
- Completed my Sports Leader Qualification at St Peters and was a volunteer sports coach This means I coach and help younger years along with primary schools through different sports and activities
- Went to Malawi for 3 weeks on an educational trip with St Peters CofE secondary school There we spent time volunteering in village orphanages, hospitals and schools and helped support the community and the village We also spent time coaching children
- Completed my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award
