• To attend (virtually) the two-week annual session of the Commission on the Status of Women as a UN UK Delegate. This year's topic is “Accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective”.
• I was particularly interested in side events on specific human rights issues such a preventing gender-based violence, ending surrogacy, and being a woman in Palestine.

• In collaboration with the Scottish Women's Budget Group, The Young Women's Movement are undertaking research into young women's experiences of the cost-of-living crisis in Scotland.
• To co-design this project, including working on survey design, identifying themes, supporting analysis of the findings and gaps, and monitoring the project's overall progress.

The YWL Highland project explores young women’s experiences of social isolation and loneliness in the Highland Council region to build a clearer understanding of the extent and nature of the issue. By thematically analysing participants’ responses to questions about social isolation, the project maps out and makes visible the challenges young women experience in a remote area such as the Highlands.

• To provide strategic direction, including agreeing and monitoring strategic plans.
• To ensure that RASASH complies with the law, including charity law and its governing documents.
• To effectively support and manage the RASASH Manager.
• To ensure that RASASH’s finances are appropriately managed according to the agreed accounting policies.

• To coordinate and manage fundraising events and raise RASASH's community profile.
• To support the delivery of 16 Days of Activism.
• To network across a great range of stakeholders to create collaborations and partnerships.
• To undertake a 12 weeks training programme in compliance with the Rape Crisis Scotland Service Standards.
