Early recognition of deterioration by performing regular observations and martha's rule and promptly escalate it to the medical team, SMART and senior staff.
Maintain skin care bundle and carry on with repositioning patients to relief pressure areas. Adhere to NMC code of conduct and trust policy at all times.

To provide and develop skills and competence in caring for critically ill patients

Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary teams and liase with senior medical staff to provide high quality services to critical care patients and their relatives/carers
Be able to recognise and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations
Perform continuous assessment and monitoring of patient conditions, including neurological status, pain score, GCS and vital signs. Also be able to perform structured assessment such as ABCDE approach when necessary.
Manage advanced medical equipments like mechanical ventilators, infusion pumps, and hemodialysis machines with appropriate training and competence
Response quickly during crises such as cardiac arrest or respiratory failure, by initiating resuscitation measures and adjusting care plans immediately
Maintaining detailed and accurate records and documentation of patient data.
Maintain effective communication skills and deliver difficult, sensitive and unpleasant information in a caring compassionate and respectful manner
Plan, implement and evaluate care delivery according to health needs and varying levels of complexity

Provided high quality nursing care to patients admitted with acute and chronic cardiac conditions in CCU
Monitored patients using continuous cardiac monitoring and ECG, recognising early signs of deterioration and escalating concerns appropriately.
Delivered pre and post procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac interventions including coronary angiography and angioplasty.
Closely monitored patients following procedures for complications such as bleeding, chest pain, arrythmias, and haemodynamic instability.
Provided nursing care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic and vascular surgery (CTVS) , including post-operative monitoring, wound care, pain management and early detection of complications.
