Arezo Qanih

Summary

Arezo Qanih is a women rights, civil society and child rights activist working since 2005. Arezo was working as Deputy Director and media consultant (volunteer) of ECW in Afghanistan, later on Arezo started working as freelance consultant. In this role, Arezo strived for empowerment of women’s status and rights through implementation of programs on Advocacy, Women’s Rights, Gender and Capacity Building. Arezo is an energetic and committed social and women’s rights activist with passion on supporting women’s empowerment in Arezo country and around the world. Arezo believes that advocacy and policy based activities on human and women rights principle will support women to have a prosperous life.

Arezo Qanih was Civil Society Representative, which was elected by the Civil Society Organization in 2010 London Conference for Afghanistan and 2014 London Conference for Afghanistan.

Arezo Qanih has participated into 50 international conferences on Afghanistan in different countries represented Afghan women, civil society and advocated for the Afghan women rights.

In 2022 Arezo Qanih started working as document controller for Balfour Beatty Vinci and currently working in this position.
